GENERAL INFORMATION:
The farm is fully fenced (37.1km) with Jackal-proof fenced (electrified top and bottom). All the inside fences consist of 8km Jackal-proof fences and are also electrified, as well as 12.5km Jackal-proof fences. In total all the inside fences total 52.2km standard 6 wire stock fence. And 6km wildlife fencing. 4x Jackal-proof test blocks, 1x screen block electrified at the bottom. The farm is divided into 23x camps and all the camps have access to water drinking points.
Water:
Water is provided by 8x bore-holes (7 with windmills and 1 with submersible pump) every bore-hole has its own dam and can hold between 10 000 to 100 000 liters of water as well as 8x water troughs. All livestock drinking facilities are equipped with dams, water tanks and 23x water troughs. All the drinking troughs are fitted “Kraal” and sorting “kraal”.
The water is shallow, strong and very delicious.
Pasture:
The “veld” is divided into “SAGTE” and “RANTEVELD”. Bushveld and grass fields also mixed. Plenty of rivers (3 big) and numerous brooks cross the farm. River areas are wooded.
