The farm consists of 13 camps on 2000 hectare of flat land, surrounded by game proof fence on three sides. The 5000-hectare hilly area is a designated game reserve The fences and other infrastructure are in very good condition. There is also sorting camps at main farmstead and outposts

The main farmstead:

There are two spacious farmsteads, one for the owner overlooking the valley below and a large manager’s dwelling at a lower level. At both farmsteads there is solar power, emergency generator sets, and abattoir facilities for dressing game. In addition, the lower farmstead has a walk-in cool room.

Water supply:

5x water points with strong water,  three points are at the house and the submersible pumps are driven by solar panels. One outpost is equipped with solar power. The water table is about 80 meters The borehole yields are very good, sufficient to water the farmsteads and a plantation of 400 lemon- and nartjie trees under drip irrigation. The soil is highly fertile, and the trees are doing very well.

Veld:

The farm falls in the mopane savanna. It’s location in the intermontane valleys of the Fransfontein mountains gives the farm some unique features seldom found anywhere else. The valleys have deep fertile red soil with a wealth of tree- and grass- and fodder bush species. The mountains have a different habitat and vegetation entirely on its own and have fertile and secluded mountain plateaus, where game breeds and calves in peace. The owner has seen to it that the grazing has been used judiciously. The grazing is excellent, and the farm lies in an area of consistent relatively rainfall, and even during dry years there has always been sufficient rain to pull through on good stocking rates.

Economic pursuits:

Ranching: This property falls within the prime stock producing area of the country. Cattle and small stock do very well here
Hunting: the farm has plenty of oryx, mountain zebra, kudu and warthog.
We believe that with hands on management the farm will give an excellent return from a diversity of activities.

Asking price

N$ 11,600,000.00 including commission, excluding any ancillary costs associated with a purchase.

General

The farm well developed for its purpose and the asking price presents economic value for money.

This is a secluded, yet very accessible property of good quality and would be an excellent investment for a city-based businessman.
